Northern Ocean City, also known as the Arctic Republic is an independent city-state in the Northern Ocean.

History[]
In 1760, Stonehopper's grandson, Lockhopper and Dockhopper, his father set sail to find lands in the far north, beyond the Northern Archipelago. They discovered a small snowy island with lush green forests and rich soil. They left half of their crew there to start a settlement while the father and son went to Chinstrap. One month later Dockhopper and Lockhopper returned with news that the Chinstrapian Parliament had allowed them to make their own country. The crew left behind had already started a settlement, which they chose to name Northern Ocean City, since it was a city in the Northern Ocean. Over the years it grew.
Military[]
The Arctic Armed Forces (AAF) consists of 50,000 soldiers, 100 ships, 200 armored cars, 300 helicopters, and 125 planes. The army's tanks are very powerful and hi-tech.
Transport[]
Transport is good with many paved roads and a complex freeway system. There is also a railway system and an airport called Northern Ocean City International Airport.
Government[]
The government is fair and democratic. All creatures over 18 are allowed to vote. The current political party is the Arctic Republican Party.
Culture[]
The culture is similar to the UK and there are many movies and books made in the nation.
Education[]
Education is very good with 99.5% of penguins passing their exams.

Health care is free and for all penguins.

Science and Technology is good since the nation has 10 missiles and is trying to make an Ice Fission bomb.
Foreign Relations[]
Gexon - Excellent! The two are good allies and trading partners. There is also a defense pact between the two nations.
Economy[]
The economy is very good. GDP is high and taxes are low. The nation trades with many other nations and has many oil wells in the Northern Ocean.
Currency[]
The nation has one currency, the Arctic Dollar (A$), which is being used by two other countries. It is worth 20 Club Penguin Coins (CPC), or 10 Snowros (SNO), or 4 Antarctican Dollars (AD$), or 10 Pengporean Dollars (PD$), or 10 Publes.
